If the ad were less often or were a mix of longer ads and short, single photo/page ads, I could probably tolerate it. It’s become so frustrating that I’ve decided to delete the app and instead play my second favorite app by a different make of sudoko or return to playing puzzle pages. If I have to interrupt my game to briefly move to another app, such as to answer a text, when I return to the game (and I’m not talking about reopening the app, but just being away from it for even a few second) I get another long ad. They don’t just come at the end of a game or the beginning of a new game, they come every time I open the app. Now the ads are long and hard to get rid of. Before this hey had a kind of placeholder for the ads, but that could be quickly x’ed. It was a good way for me to take a quick break and decompress. I use to play this app multiple times a day.
